419 Scam Example: "EL LOTONAZO / DKV SEGUROS S.A."
"EL LOTONAZO / DKV SEGUROS S.A." are labels abused by a gang in Spain for a fake lottery fraud (advance fee fraud, "419"). Both companies actually exist but have no connection to the scammers. The real DKV SEGUROS is a health insurance company. If you are receiving a winning notification for a Spanish lottery that tells you to call a Spanish mobile phone number (0034-6xx-yyy-yyy or +34 6xx-yyy-yyy) then it's a scam. Basically any lottery winning notification by email or from a company you never heard of before is a scam, but you know for sure when it tells you to call a mobile phone number or to contact a webmail address.
