419 scam - USPA immigration / Rebuild New Orleans
This is an immigration scam. Victims are told they can come to the United States to help rebuild areas devastated by Hurricane Kathrina. In reality they will get no visa or airline ticket. All the scammers are after is cash supposedly for visa processing fees.

Dear Applicant,
This is to acknowledge the receipt of your filled application forms that were forwarded to us. We therefore officially confirm your participation to the United States Rebuilding of Hurricanes Affected Cities.
Kindly download the attachment as to enable you view your invitation letter. You will be flying with Air France; you will secure your flight ticket from the Air France representative in your country through our directive after the processing of your visa.
For your visa to be approved you have to obey the terms and condition of the United States visa procedure, we in own part will make sure that all the necessary documents that will help you to secure your visa from the United States embassy in your country without any difficulties. The immigration lawyer will give you all the necessary steps to follow in the processing of your visa.
Note: The attached invitation letter does not serve for the American embassy; it should only be submitted to the visa advocate here in United States as our reference for the processing of your visa. As soonest as your visa approval is secured by the visa advocate, we will then forward to you the original letter of invitation together with your flight tickets code which you will have to present at the United States Embassy in your country.
