419 Scam Example: "Stalion Trust Bank Plc / SOUTH AUSTRALIA NATIONAL LOTTERY"
"Stalion Trust Bank Plc / SOUTH AUSTRALIA NATIONAL LOTTERY Sweepstakes International Program" is a fake lottery scam run by a gang in Nigeria. All phone numbers used in the scam are +44 70 redirection numbers that forward calls to the UK numbers to mobile phones in Nigeria at the caller's expense. No bank by that name exists in the UK.
The South Australian lottery does not use banks or agents outside of Australia do handle lottery payouts because it's only for Australian customers. Any lottery that calls itself a "Sweepstakes International Program" is fake because gambling laws in major countries prevent the legitimate ioperation of any international lottery.
